517 Ministries is an evangelistic ministry that provides biblical teaching on faith, freedom from sin, and living a victorious life in Christ!
Our focus is dedicated to reaching people who have never heard the Gospel, taking care of orphans and widows, feeding the hungry, and supporting the local church.
We help believers to know who they are in Christ. When you know who you are in Christ, you can live free from depression, anxiety, fear, addiction, bitterness, and sin.
Pastor Chris has served in full-time ministry for over 20 years. He began in the inner-city of Baltimore where he served for over 10 years. He is committed to teaching people how to thrive with Biblical faith, how to live free from sin, and how to live a victorious life in Christ.
He is dedicated to reaching people who have never heard the Gospel, taking care of the “widow and orphan”, and supporting and ministering to the local church.
Pastor Chris serves in the ministry with his wife Kelly, their daughter Katelyn, and son-in-law Tyler. Their number one ministry is to their children, Katelyn, Gabrielle, Kyle, Gavin, Cameron, and Tyler.
Chris and Kelly have a passion to see America enter into another Great Awakening. They believe revival is now. They both have a heart for the church and to help people live the best life possible in Christ. They believe in the mission left for the church by Jesus Christ: to go and make disciples of all nations…

Hope in Action is the compassion arm of 517 Ministries. Through Hope in Action, we show the love of Christ in a practical way. Hope in Action ministers to local communities. We have helped 1000s of families in the surrounding Winchester/Frederick County communities during difficult seasons of their lives.
We host Festival of Hope gatherings which are large, fun, family events for local communities that offer support for those who are in need, and present the HOPE that can only come from Jesus. We introduce each person to Jesus Christ, pray with them, and strive to help them connect with a faith-filled, Bible-believing church. Our goal is to minister to the whole person: spiritual, physical, and emotional.
We also conduct community Hope in Action events all throughout the year at various community locations. You will see us set up in front of a local business, park, or church with our red tents, grills fired up, and listening to music. We provide a free lunch to each person who attends the event. We take time to pray with and share Christ with each person. Every family leaves with a HOPE grocery box, filled with non-perishable food and household supplies.
Hope in Action partners with local churches. Consider hosting a Hope in Action event at or near your church. We will train your church members in evangelism, set up your event, and help to funnel new believers and members into your local congregation.

The mission of 517 Ministries is to share God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ to the world. We want everyone to know God personally and to experience the joy of knowing that they are going to heaven. Jesus loves people so much!
